कुछ पल राधा सा जीने को।
पुनर्जन्म हो मेरा कृष्णा!
फिर-फिर तुम्हें ही देखन को।

Amazing poem! Badhai!
I read a lot about Radha Rani , Krishna , Gopies and their collective dances and questioned as to why she did not go to Dwarka when Krishna was leaving Mathura for good to go and settle there?
I came to know that all Radha – Krishna stories emanates from the poetry of Jaidev who adored the concept of male and female friends’ friendship leading them to sing and dance together openly by villagers. This concept give rise to some special Gopi of Krishna called Radha who looks forward to his company despite being a married women .
Then I knew that Radha was imagined as such by the poet Jaidev and there is no mention of her name anywhere in Bhagwat Puran or in Bhagwat Geeta.
But I too got enchanted with this concept of unconditional friendship of Radha and Krishna .
I have been to Mathura and Vrindavan and heard many more Lok Kathas …folk stories .
